The Capturing Our Wayland Heritage project was officially launched on 20th February 2009 by the Bishop of Norwich, the Rt Rev Graham James. The launch of the project was accompanied by an exhibition of research and images by heritage groups from Ashill, Griston, Thompson, Merton, Saham Toney, Scoulton and Watton that are already working in the area. It was a very well attended day and it got the project of to a very good start. We would like thank the Bishop and all the groups and individuals that gave their time and support to the project to make the day such a success.
